Here's a breakdown of how our Bin Services:

1. Booking: You can start our green waste service anytime by "clicking this link" or by calling 0800 SKIP 2 U (0800754728). The bin can be delivered or emptied the same day if the booking is made before 12 pm noon.

2. Bin Options: Kiwi Skips provides 240-litre green waste bins for hire at $5.75 per month. That can be simply set up as a subscription using a credit card so you don't need to think about it again. Alternatively, if you already own your own green waste bin, Kiwi Skips can empty it for $11 per empty.

3. Scheduling: The green waste bins can be emptied any day a week. You can schedule the service at any time by "clicking this link" or give us a call. Same-day emptying is possible if the request is received before 12 pm noon.

4. Payment and Contracts: The $11 payment can be made at the time of booking by "clicking here" otherwise we can send you an invoice. The bin rental for Kiwi Skips Bins is charged monthly. Invoicing, direct debit, or credit card subscriptions are available as payment options. There is a minimum 3-month contract per bin.

5. Accessibility: To ensure smooth collection, please place the green waste bin on the curb by 12noon on the scheduled collection day. This will allow the Kiwi Skips drivers to easily access and empty the bin.

Please ensure that your green waste bin is easily movable. If our drivers cannot easily move the bin, they will not be able to empty it and you may need to remove some waste from the bin in such cases.

3. Emptying Schedule: Kiwi Skips typically empties our recycling bins for residential addresses every Thursday. You can choose between weekly or fortnightly emptying frequency based on your preference. We are unable to offer weekly service to some rural areas however we can supply multiple bins if necessary.

4. Payment and Contracts: The service is charged monthly based on the emptying frequency. Invoicing, direct debit, or credit card subscriptions are available as payment options. There is a minimum 3-month contract per bin.

For Invercargill City and Otatara, it is every Wednesday. For North Invercargill, Myross Bush, and Makarewa, it is every Friday. You can choose between weekly or fortnightly emptying frequency. Weekly collections are not available in our Bluff Kapuka zone at this stage.

Remember to check Kiwi Skips' guidelines or contact them directly for any specific instructions or requirements regarding bin placement and accessibility on collection days as this does not apply for 660ltr and 1100ltr bins or addresses with long driveways.
